- OUR ASSOCIATION -
The French Historical Association (Law 1901) "Mémoire de la libération, Poche de Saint Nazaire" created in March 2010.
Its aim is the preservation of the historical and military heritage with memory, about Saint Nazaire pocket, through exhibitions, vehicles convoy, historical reenactments as well as the heritage rehabilitation. Mainly, it represents the 66th Infantry Division history. Today, the association has about 20 members.

The association was the organizer in 2015 of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Saint Nazaire Pocket, rich in events on multiple municipalities in association with several other associations in the sector:

Today, it is committed to preserving the memory of men through the creation of a memory preservation program with the Panther Veteran Organization (US Veterans Association of the 66th Infantry Division) In order to promote exchanges and maintain friendship among nations: the "66th Infantry Division, Preservation Program" was born!
